Speed Networking with Balls! Sport Relief

ELA Marketing took part in the Make Your Mark
with a ball challenge on the 13th March. The challenge had to include a ball that raised funds for Sport Relief!
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Lizzie came up with a Speed Networking event with a difference. Each delegate was given a different colour ball, which corresponded to a sport (Golf, Tennis, Football and Cricket.) The event was kindly sponsored by About My Area CM9 and the venue donated by Unique Results. Over 20 businesses took part in the event and 203 was raised for Sport Relief which is fantastic. A huge thank you to our sponsors, Homebase and the Waterhouse Lane Business Park. The amount of money raised will fund a teacher in a Bangladeshi school for 6 months. |

Ladies Night

Over 140 women attended the event on the 28th November. The evening was a great success and tickets were sold out. Thank you to Debenhams who provided some fabulous clothes for the Christmas season. A big thanks go to the sponsors, Barclays Bank, Lambert Chapman,

ELA Marketing was very much involved in this years Enterprise Week. We
had four events that took place during the week. These were, Make Your Mark
Campaign at a school in Rayleigh, Speed Networking at Harlow Council, Womens
Enterprise Day at The Bar,
Chelmsford
and Beaujolais Day at The Cellar Bar in
Chelmsford
. Many businesses took part in the weeks events so thank you. A quick thank

Lizzie is absolutely thrilled to be asked to be an ambassador for this campaign which promotes young female entrepreneurs within the UK. Lizzie was asked to join the scheme due to her event involvement with Ladies Night Make your business shine bright which saw 100 women come together to network, have fun and shop! Lizzie will have to actively encourage women aged 18-24 years to start their own business within the Essex area. |

Over 20,000 people visited the business start up show at this years Business Start up exhibition. Lizzie was on hand to give both businesses key marketing advice at the 121 smart marketing advice booth. Lizzie was asked to be one of the key marketing experts for both Friday and Saturday morning. The booth was fully booked on both days and Lizzie was able to help over 50 businesses within the 15 minute sessions. The exhibition show saw famous entrepreneurs such as; Stellios from Easy Jet, Levi Roots from Dragons Den and Michelle Dewberry winner of 2006s The Apprentice, share their knowledge with the thousands of people attending. |
